I'm so happy to feature the work of Beehive Events today. Shawn and I met each other last year when we worked together on a wedding at The Country Club of Virginia. Beehive Events specializes in event styling. Shawn concepts and constructs the creative aspects of events with her team that is based out of Charlottesville, Virginia. All of her work is breathtaking, but I'm especially drawn to this table...
Shawn arranged David English Roses, peonies, viburnum, hydrangea, clarkia, lady's mantle and passion flower in vintage silver tulip vases and a hammered silver compote.
She used a vintage china pattern called Desert Rose (which was said to be a favorite of Jackie Kennedy). The rustic table is from Mexico. Its wide planks and great burnish marks give it so much character. Don't you wonder what great feast must be waiting on the guests who will dine here?{images courtesy Beehive Events}
