Playful Pinwheels for your Engagement Photos

Heidi Ryder sent over this super cute engagement session. It took place at the Griffith Observatory (the place of the couple's first date!) and its nearby trails. Jackqueline + Jeremy really wanted the shoot to include elements of childhood so they made adorable paper pinwheels and a matching kite by hand to use as props for the shoot. So fun + playful!

The fabulous husband and wife team Paco & Betty sent me this stunning engagement session to share with you guys today! From Paco & Betty, Every-so-often our clients like to scout their own shoot locations and because we have already been to and, in-fact, live right down the street from the Bridge Theatre we said "OK!" :) Daisy and Adrian wanted the theme of the shoot to be like "old Harlem" which is awesome because they totally fit the part! I LOVE the final outcome so much! Thanks for your inspiring ideas guys, you rocked this shoot!!! I agree - and this couple has got some mad style!

Engagement photos on a ferry

Photographer Kristen Marie sent over these beautiful + fun engagement photos. I love how she captured something as simple as a ride on the ferry and came up with such romantic + fun photos. A bit about the couple from Kristen, Julie and Andy. They met because Julie's a photographer and was doing some band promos and Andy was in the recording studio. She purposefully took more photos of him so that she'd have an excuse to contact him after. They're currently living in Seattle, and Andy tours a lot with his band. They are so gosh darn playful and beautiful as you can see. They're getting married in March 2011 in Kona, Hawaii.
